This is hands-down one of the best stir-fry sauces!! I love a good stir-fry! Not only is this super easy to make but this sauce makes eating vegetables that much more yummy (not like I need another reason to enjoy my vegetables), but some people do! 😉

This is an adapted recipe from TastesLovely. You can make this sauce the day you plan to prepare your stir-fry or you can even make it ahead of time – like if you do meal prep on the weekends. The sauce will keep in a glass jar in your fridge for up to one week.

Use it on just about any combination of vegetables and on any type of meat (or tempeh, if you’d like to keep it vegetarian).

AWESOME Stir-Fry Sauce

Andrea Hill
Prep Time 5 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup gluten free tamari sauce or Coconut Aminos if soy free
  • 1/2 cup unsalted chicken broth or vegetable broth if vegetarian
  • 1 tablespoon tapioca starch or arrowroot flour
  • 1 tablespoon raw honey or maple syrup, if vegan
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 2 teaspoons rice wine vinegar
  • 2- inch piece of fresh ginger root peeled and grated (or finely minced)
  • 2 garlic cloves grated of finely minced
  • 1 teaspoon Sriracha sauce optional

Instructions

  • Place all ingredients in a mason jar (or any glass jar with a lid). Cover and shake.
  • Store in fridge until ready to use or set aside while you prep stir-fry ingredients.

Notes

The amount of sauce you add will depend on how much stir-fry you plan to make. When adding the sauce to your stir-fry, let it cook for about 2-3 minutes, this will allow for the starch to thicken.
